Successful innovations come from a process where the people who will ultimately benefit from a service are given a voice in its development.

Volpi Urbane has been set up to practice research, urbanism and architecture. It was established in the Netherlands in 2011. Our work focuses on strategic and integrated design and urban planning.

Our services meet the needs for both the public and private sector; for small design interventions as well as for long-term urban strategies. Much of our work starts out as a research design turning into a full service projects all the way through to execution.

Volpi Urbane collaborates with the German Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP), an independent, "not-for-profit “Think and Do Tank” committed to providing collaborative solutions for a sustainable planet. The Centre was founded in 2005 by the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) and the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy
